You are only a short and pleasant walk away from the local antique shops and cafes where you can happily while away the hours.

If you love spectacular sea views from your hotel windows, then arguably the best views are to be had from the front hotel rooms that look out over the beach and seafront. We have a number of seriously comfortable rooms decorated out with elegant curtains and soft furnishings where you can sit and peacefully take in the spectacular ebb and flow of the sea from your window. Brighton for foodies and wine lovers

Brighton has been on the tourist map since the 18th Century, mostly because of its reputation as being the weekend getaway for the Prince Regent. One of his greatest passions was for all things oriental and Indian, a feature that is very well displayed in the design and build of the Royal Pavilion as well as in it's interior décor of hand-painted Chinese wallpaper and collections of oriental objects.

According to gossip and rumours at that time, the Prince Regent was also a big fan of Indian cuisine, so seeking to 'curry' favour with the Prince, Brighton's eating houses were the early adopters of cooking with lots of heady spices sourced from spice merchants visiting the ancient sea port.

Brighton was also home to a wealthy wine merchant, so it is no wonder that Brighton soon became a haven for people seeking out good food and quality wine here throughout the 18th and 19thcenturies. This tradition still stands and you can be guaranteed to find some quite superb restaurants in the local area that serve amazing dishes created from locally-sourced seafood and fresh produce. All served with top-class wine choices from all over the world.

At the Queens Hotel, you can take a well-earned break from the kitchen and indulge yourself a little while your stay with us. All of our guests have a free hot buffet breakfast included within their room rate, so you don't have to worry about fixing breakfast! As well as this fabulous culinary treat, our guests booking through the official are entitled to our save10 offer and will receive a 10% discount per room per night. In addition, they will be entitled to 10% off all food and drinks consumed in the hotel during their stay for the number of guests staying in the booked room. What could be better than that for a food lover!

So you can see that there are plenty of reasons why you should choose the Queens Hotel as your preferred accommodation for your next visit to the wonderful city by the sea that is Brighton!
