Summer Events in Brighton

For lovers of music and comedy, this year sees some fantastic big names and well-known acts playing  the Brighton Centre and Brighton Dome. New stars are in the making can be seen at The Old Market and in smaller pubs, clubs and venues across the city.

Each weekend the Komedia plays host to the Krater Comedy Club. This is the best place to head to experience a good night of comedy with 3 stand-up acts and an hilarious host.

For theatre buffs, you cannot help but be spoilt with the pre-West End shows of offer, or the wonderful touring productions that regularly visit the Theatre Royal in Brighton. Regular plays and mini-productions are performed across the city at a variety of venues, including The Marlborough - home to the Pink Fringe.

Regular art and Museum Exhibitions can be found on display in the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery as well as the Royal Pavilion. Brighton is also home to smaller museums and galleries, so there is always plenty to see and do.

These include: Classic Car Run, Martlets Midnight Walk, British Heart Foundations London to Brighton Bike Ride, andTake Part Festival. Or how about enjoying The Luna Beach Cinema from 14th June until 15th July and enjoy one of over 80 open air showings.

For July, you can look forward to experiencing: Race For Life, Pretty Muddy, Paddle Round The Pier - the world's biggest free beach and watersports festival. The festival provides a great opportunity to try out different sporting activities and also enjoy plenty of live music and entertainment.
